Thanks to the generous support of our members, we are launching new programs and campaigns to save more of America's historic places -- like HOPE Crew (Hands-On Preservation Experience), pictured here painting the interior of National Treasure Hinchliffe Stadium.

It’s that time again! That time when our thoughts are not only turning to the summer months ahead, but also to the exciting momentum we've been building throughout this year’s Membership Month.

Members are the foundation of the National Trust. That’s why we dedicate the month of May to shining a spotlight on the work they help us do and encourage others to join our growing preservation movement. Our efforts to preserve and protect our country’s historic and iconic places would not be possible without the support of those who share in our passion.

This year, our goal is to welcome 300 new members to our National Trust community by May 31. That’s just two days left, and we’re nearly there!

But this goal is more than just a number. It’s a goal to connect with like-minded people who care about saving historic places. And it’s a challenge to those who may not yet be a part of the National Trust community to take a stand for places they care about and join us.

Membership starts at just $20 and comes with great benefits, including:

  • An annual subscription to our award-winning Preservation magazine;
  • Discounts at hundreds of historic places across the country and worldwide;
  • Up to 50% off the best available rate at participating Historic Hotels of America.®

Whether you’re a student, own a historic home, are a preservation professional, or just love old places, we hope you’ll take up the challenge and join the National Trust today. On behalf of everyone at the National Trust, we are truly grateful for your support and passion for saving America’s historic places.

Already a National Trust member? You can still help! Make a special donation or renew your membership today.

The National Trust for Historic Preservation works to save America's historic places. Join us today to help protect the places that matter to you.
