North Pierhead Lighthouse, off the coast of Lake Michigan

Sturgeon Bay Ship Canal North Pierhead Lighthouse -- Sturgeon Bay, WI

There are several lights along the Sturgeon Bay Ship Canal, but the North Pierhead Lighthouse was the first. Situated just off the coastline of Lake Michigan, the original lighthouse was constructed in 1881, but when the light and fog signal needed major repairs, a new tower was built in 1903 at the outermost point of the pier. East Breakwater Light -- Manistique, MI

Built in 1916, the picturesque red East Breakwater Light sits on the end of a concrete breakwater on the east side of the harbor where the Manistique River flows into Lake Michigan. The lighthouse once guided Lake Michigan railroad car ferries into the Manistique and was the only light on the northern part of Lake Michigan for 44 miles. Price tag: Contact agent for price

The Saybrook Breakwater Lighthouse is located near the historic town of Old Saybrook, in Middlesex County, at the mouth of the mighty Connecticut River. This lighthouse was one of the first of a number of cylindrical cast-iron lighthouses constructed between the 1880s and 1920s. It is also the one featured on the special Preserve the Sound Connecticut license plate. Price tag: Contact agent for price
